Join us for this year’s Store Championship! This competitive event is the first of KeyForge’s Organized Play season, intended for players to get competitive play practice at their local store in preparation for the Vault Tour, National Championship, and World Championship competitions. Expect higher stakes and a more competitive environment than your typical KeyForge game night at Just Games. Hone your skills, elevate your competitive spirit, and get ready for an exciting KeyForge Organized Play season!
Format: Sealed
The Sealed format challenges each player to make the best deck combination from the house pods found in three sealed decks.
Players are required to sleeve their decks in opaque card sleeves for all official KeyForge events.
Sealed Deck Creation
For Sealed deck creation, players will be provided 3 unopened Archon decks from the same KeyForge set. Players then choose 3 house pods from different houses from among the decks provided and combine them into a single Alliance deck. This is called the Forging of Alliances.
(A house pod is the group of 12 cards dedicated to a single house within a single Archon deck.)
Players will get 30 minutes to construct their sealed decks and may “calibrate” their decks between rounds by substituting one or more house pods with one or more of their unused house pods from the Archon decks they opened at the beginning of the tournament.
Tournament Structure
Entrance Fee: $30
Event registration begins at 12pm, March 21. Play begins at 1pm.
Players will play 3 best-of-one swiss rounds timed at 45 minutes.
