D&D Adventurer’s League (“AL”) is undergoing some exciting changes in October with the kickoff of Season 8. What is Adventurers League? It’s just one of the many ways we run D&D at our store. In this case, it’s a way of playing D&D that has global story-lines and includes the last few D&D Epics we have run at the store. Pretty cool, huh? You can read about the changes here. Not sure what Adventurers League is? You can read more at Wizards of the Coast’s website.
We understand some DMs are very excited about these changes, and some are not so much. As with any change to an organized program, there will be some cleanup, some catchup, and some concerns. We want to assure all our players and DMs that whatever form of D&D you choose to play, we will support it and work with you to have an awesome gaming experience! We have many tables of AL, but just as many non-AL happening every week (heck, almost every night of the week!).
If you’re currently DMing AL and want to change, let us know, and we’ll make sure everyone at your table gets a great experience. Have another system? Cool! Let’s try it. If you’re not currently playing or running AL, but think these changes are cool, let us know and we can find you a table. Our commitment is to you, our players, and we want you to play whatever system makes the most awesome D&D experience we can!
Would you like to start or participate in any kind of D&D at the store? Email sales@justgamesrochester.com and our owner Matt will reply right away. He’s a huge D&D geek, so he’s always happy to just chat about RPGs too!
