Just Games is hiring a part-time events staffer able to work Friday evening and Saturday all day, with possible hours Sunday. The job starts training as soon as possible with full shift coverage no later than August 1, 2025. Submit your resume to sales@justgamesroc.com.
EVENTS candidates will be reliable, have excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, be outgoing and professional, be able to handle cash register operations swiftly and accurately, and be able to carry out multiple mental tasks at once. We are particularly interested in those with specialty retail experience, with a focus on knowledge of Pokemon or Magic. A full shift is roughly 9 hours a day, typically from 12 pm – 9 pm, but may vary based on the day of the week. Candidates must live in the Rochester area, have reliable transportation, and be available for training on the days they will regularly work.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in speciality retail promotional events
- Multilingual abilities, especially ASL
- Any CCG judge or professor certification
- Knowledge of tabletop products, particularly RPGs
Starting pay is $16-19 per hour, depending on experience with specialty retail and game / event coordination. Paid sick leave and time off available, staff discount on games included including free games as part of training. Starting shifts will be Friday 4 pm to close, Saturday open to close, and possible additional hours at occasional off-site events on Sunday.
