Just Games and The Strong will collaborate to provide a Dungeons and Dragons Workshop on January 15, February 5, and March 12. Just Games will be coordinating a group of volunteer Dungeon Masters to run D&D for all ages. The programming will be focused on different age groups for each date, as follows:
If you’d like to sign yourself or your young adventurers up, you can do so at the links above. Costs is $25 per player and goes directly to benefit the Strong, and pay for materials for this programming.
Want to be a Strong Museum Volunteer Dungeon Master?
Good news! Just Games is coordinating those DMs!
Materials will be coordinated by and with Just Games for the youth participants. The teen and adult games will certainly be run as D&D Epics, and the childrens introductory event will focus on, well, an introductory adventure. All Dungeon Masters are required to pass a background check to work with youth, regardless of the age group they DM. If you have previously passed this, we should have the results on file, but we may ask you to resubmit depending on the length of time that has passed.

Just Games has an opening for another paid D&D Coordinator for this program! Successful candidates will help develop and coordinate the programming, as well as train and organize volunteers at the Museum (such as other Dungeon Masters).Qualified candidates should submit their resume to outreach@justgamesroc.com, subject line ‘Strong D&D Coordinator’. The following qualifications are required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to work successfully with all ages
- The ability to represent Just Games brand and mission to the larger Rochester community.
- Strong experience running D&D 5th Edition as a DM, and participating as a player.
- Having adminned a D&D Epic in the past is a plus
- Experience painting miniatures a plus.
- Experience with non-profits or specialty retail desirable.
