Learn to Play Magic: the Gathering’s most popular format, Commander! Our judge, Lauren, will teach you about this fun format in four easy lessons. This Learn to Play runs Wednesday for 4 weeks starting November 16 at 6 pm
Your first week we give you a deck and packs and show you how to play the format. Each of the next 3 weeks, we will show you new parts of play, add cards, and have a great time. Best of all, all the games played in the Learn to Play count as part of our Brother’s War Commander League – so once you learn it, you can just keep playing!

This isn’t some underpowered deck of commons – it’s a preconstructed deck just like you’d buy from the store!
What if I know how to play?
We are accepting a limited number of players to be Magic Mentors for this Learn to play. Apply at the end of this post! If accepted, you’ll get a learn to play deck to teach, the great prizes below, and be assigned a pod of new players to help play and shepard into the community.
