Of all the games we’ve seen at Gen Con, this one stands out as the most unique. Each *card* will be unique, so there is no way to “tweak” the perfect deck; instead strategies must evolve based on what keywords are on the table at any given moment. Solving the problem CCGs often have when the meta gets stale, KeyForge is worth a look if you’re into Magic or LCGs, but want more variety in your game play. We’ll have updates here as they are available. Meanwhile, one deck costs $9.95 and the core box is just $39.95.
From Matt: The game’s production is totally unique in the card game world. When a new deck is printed the computer selects 3 factions randomly and adds 12 cards from the faction to the deck. These cards are procedurally selected to build a random, but unique, 36 card deck. Every deck will have a randomly generated name and card back. This back will be unique to your deck and your archon and have its name printed on the card backs and fronts.
Game play features an action economy. Card pool in the first set will be just under 400 cards. Starter box contains the only two pre-set decks in the game, and 2 random decks. Each 9.95 deck will be of the random variety.

Welcome to the Jungle
To achieve victory, you will need to call upon the skills of every House within your Archon Deck.
