Learn to Play Magic: the Gathering’s most popular format, Commander! Our judge, Lauren, will teach you about this fun format in four easy lessons.
This Learn to Play runs on Wednesdays for 4 weeks, starting February 8th, at 6 pm Your first week we give you a deck and show you how to play the format. Each of the next 3 weeks, we will show you new parts of play, add cards, hand out prizes, and have a great time. Best of all, all the games played in the Learn to Play count as part of our Phyrexia: All Will Be One Commander League – so once you learn the game, you can just keep playing!

This isn’t some underpowered deck of commons – it’s a preconstructed deck just like you’d buy from the store!
Due to the limited amount of space, if you attended the previous Commander: Learn to Play event, we please ask you to not sign up for this one, to ensure that there is space for everyone new to learn!

We are accepting a limited number of players to be Magic Mentors for this Learn to play. Apply at the end of this post!
If accepted, you’ll get a learn to play deck to teach, prizes, and be assigned a pod of new players to help play and shepherd into the community. If that sounds good, scroll to the bottom.
