This spring, Magic: the Gathering brings the Magic Core 2020 pre-release to Just Games! Pre-release are on July 5-7, with the full release on the following Friday. Note that we have two amazing new things to announce: first, we have pre-releases on Friday starting at 3 pm! And as if that wasn’t enough, as a Premium event venue we are authorized to offer side-drafts of M20 at pre-release.

Matt’s hot take: Holy cow guys, that’s the first time anyone has been able to draft in-store since Conflux, which is the very first pre-release I ever ran! I don’t use the word “historical” often, but this feels like a ground breaking change for players who love Friday Night drafts and don’t want to miss it on pre-release Friday!

We have added three new events to our schedule, so if you haven’t been in a while, or still haven’t checked out our new space, now’s your chance!

Friday 3 pm Early Bird

Going to a pre-release is fun! Doing it for $10 off, at $25 is even more fun! Come in mid-afternoon on Friday and try out the new time slot. See how you like it, and do it for less for interrupting a work day!

Friday Night (Magic) Prerelease, 6 pm Friday

FNM Pre-release sealed! Same as the old Saturday afternoon time slot, similar prizes, just as awesome!

Side Drafts

As a Premium Wizards of the Coast store, we will be offering Side Drafts during all pre-release events. We expect the primary focus of these drafts to be at 6 pm on Friday. This is a special event not available to non-premium venues. Prizes and costs are listed below.

Breakfast – 9 am Sunday

Sunday 9 am join us for food and battle, as we host our first every Breakfast pre-release; french toast, eggs, coffee and juice. Shake off the party from Nox the night before with a breakfast spread, followed by Magic 2020 Core pre-release.
