With the holidays over, and lots of new games in hand, it’s important you can find a place to learn to play them. With that in mind, we’ve cooked up a slate of Learn to Play events for new players, and players who want to jump in at a great price. Each of these events dovetails into our weekly events, so you’re not just learning the game, you’re getting to know our amazing community.

- Dungeons & Dragons – Feb 7 – Join an epic campaign of D&D where you are in the driver’s seat for your character’s story while you learn
- Magic: Commander – Feb 8 – Learn Magic’s most popular – and perhaps complex – format from our certified Magic judge
- Board games – Feb 10 – fast, fun, games and at the Rochester Museum and Science Center!
- Battletech – Feb 18 – Jump into learn one of 2022’s best selling miniatures games
- Warhammer 40K – Feb 26 – Learn the whole hobby – assembly, painting and game play in four short days. Just $15 / week
- Pokemon – jump into this amazing game with a fun league format Fridays
We strongly encourage signing up in advance, particularly those events with product involved, as seats will be limited by product availability / promotional pricing, so expect these to be first come, first-served, and once sold out you’ll have to wait for the next season of learn to plays!
