March Beginner Painting Class: Dragons! March 15

EDIT: 3.14.2020. In order to help comply with reduced capacity, and leave room for 40K, we’re going to be testing running our Red Dragon painting class online tomorrow at 2 pm. Super exciting chance to see what online paint classes could bring to the store!

If you have tickets, you can pick up materials tomorrow between noon and 2 pm, then get yourself home to a computer to set up and get ready for class! At 2 pm on the Just Games Rochester Facebook page, Neil will Go Live and run the class from there.

Here’s the challenge: if you didn’t buy tickets, we’re also going to welcome you to follow along! Grab a scaled, unpainted Wiz Kids dragon figure and give it a whirl!

If you’d like a recommended list of paints to pick up to add to your at home library, here’s a great list our team put together:

Who doesn’t love fire-breathing dragons? The answer, as usual, is adventurers! If you’re interested in learning to paint, the 2020 series of painting skills classes is for you!

Like the idea of hanging out and painting somewhere other than at home, but don’t have the gear? Join us from 1 pm to 3 pm on March 15, and we’ll teach you the next step in assembling a Painting Go Back while ALSO teaching you to paint scales on your very own fire-breathing dragon! This will be a series of classes, with subsequent classes adding tools and techniques to your kit. This class is going to be a great deal of fun, with each participant getting:

  • 1 Medium Brush
  • 2 pots of Paint of your choice to take home
  • 1 Nolzur’s Marvelous Red Dragon to learn to paint scales and claws

That’s a $35 value in product for your $20 ticket, and you get a painting lesson. Best of all, everything we provide today will be used in each monthly class for the rest of 2020! This special class is only open to 20 participants, so if you’re ready to take that next step and start equipping yourself to paint on the go, or just assemble a great paint station in your home, preregister today.

Preregister

Preregistration is closed and this class is full. Please check our upcoming events for the next painting class!
